The close-combat forms of today have their roots in English SAS techniques, for the most part developped by Master W.E. Faibairn during World War II. The COS-system (Close-combat Operational System) which is presented here is inspired by Israeli Close Combat Krav-Maga, but also by French, Belgian and English Close Combat forms.
