In the earlier book, 'Kyusho Jitsu', the fundamental basis of the art of Ryukyu kempo and its distinctive use of pressure points for combat were presented. In this volume it is hoped to bring the reader to a deeper understanding of the genuine application of traditional martial arts. This book contains detailed information about the location and use of many of the most important pressure points, as well as introducing the fundamentals of pressure point joint-control techniques. It also includes the performance and breakdown (bunkai) of kata Naihanchi. Dillman, a 9th Dan Ryukyu kempo Tomari-te, is chief instructor for Dillman Karate International, an organization of 80 schools worldwide, with an enrollment of nearly 10,000 students. Dillman has studied under five 10th degree black belts from Okinawa and in 1972 he first came into touch with pressure points. It took Dillman 15 years of intense study with many top-masters and hours of medical-anatomical research to finally interpret this ancient Okinawa knowledge.
