Throughout this series of three films Thierry Alibert presents his interpretation of the rich and most complete Tao (form) of Taiji Quan. Its aesthetics, his steady flow of techniques alternating between power and softness and its relationship with nature through the hidden presence of five elements and five animals, give these forms great qualities, in spiritual, energetical and martial respect. The origin of this rare forms, date from the nineteenth century, when this art was not yet known as Taiji-Quan but as Hao-Quan, soft boxing. It is attributed to the famous Yang Luchan (1799-1872) called "Yang the Invincible". It was then transmitted by Yang Shaohou (1862-1928), a grandson of the latter, which has kept this family art intact, his brother Yang Chengfu (1883-1936) developed a Taiji more suited to the application of beginning of the twentieth century. The study of these original forms will delight all practitioners of internal and external martial arts, but also all people (artists, athletes, therapists ...), wishing to acquire a genuine personal development tool. In this third DVD you will discover every detailed sequence of the third part "The Sky", with many angles and replays, and their martial application in slow motion and actual speed.
